English Holly Powder- English holly is the common name for Ilex aquifolium L of the family Aquifoliaceae. English holy powder is extracted from the plant, which is used in treatment for coronary heart diseases, dizziness and hypertension. It was also used in folk medicine as diuretic, purgative and cardiac stimulant. Early 1930s reports indicate that the English holy powder possesses the pharmacological activity of digitalis. Search is still being done on its use in modern medicine, some studies show that English holy powder can be used in treatment of for intermittent fevers and rheumatism, and it also has antipyretic, astringent, diuretic and expectorant properties.

Selenium is a chemical element and a trace mineral deemed essential to human nutrition. It is found in many food sources, like beef liver, turkey, chicken breast, roast beef, white bread, whole eggs, rice, oatmeal, pasta, Brazil nuts, tuna and many others.
